Prizren (Albanian: Prizren / Prizreni; Serbian: Prizren / Призрен pronounced [prîzrɛn]; Turkish: Prizren / Pürzeyn / Perzerrin) is a historic city located in Kosovo. It is the administrative center of the eponymous municipality and district. The city has a population of around 178,000 (2011 census preliminary results), making it the second largest city in Kosovo. The residents of Prizren are mostly ethnic Albanians. Prizren is located on the slopes of the Šar Mountains (Albanian: Malet e Sharrit) in the southern part of the Republic of Kosovo The municipality has a border with Albania and the Republic of Macedonia.

Prizren Fortress also known as Kaljaja (Albanian: Каlаја, Serbian Cyrillic: Каљаја) and Dušan’s Fortress (Dušanov grad, Душанов град), is a medieval fortress in Prizren, Kosovo, which once served as the capital of the Serbian Empire. It was built on a hill above Prizrenska Bistrica, around which the modern city developed. The first fort, erected on this location by the Byzantines, was further expanded by Emperor Stefan Uroš IV Dušan. The fort then came under the control of the Ottomans for four centuries, giving it its modern shape.

The Old Stone Bridge (Albanian: Ura e gurit, Serbian: Стари камени мост), Bosnian: Stari kameni most) is one of the landmarks of Prizren. It crosses the Prizrenska Bistrica.
